Multicultural Wedding Planning: How to include your cultures and merge them creating a unique and special wedding.
Are you planning your multicultural wedding and do not know how to include and merge your culture with that of your lover?
A wedding involves great planning behind it: thinking about every detail, not leaving anything loose at the last minute, and having the certainty that your big day will be everything you have always wanted.
When organizing a multicultural wedding, even more detail what will take part in the creation and they will give meaning to that precious fusion of cultures that you and your love have.
Sometimes it is difficult to know how to which extent to include cultures harmoniously to contribute to that special touch that you want so much.
Today we will give you some tips for your own wedding so that you can achieve a unique and special wedding, like your love.
Ceremony. It will depend on the type of ceremony that you would like to carry out. Our recommendation is to have a symbolic ceremony if you wish to personalize it to the maximum. You can choose who will officiate it, prepare a super special script, and include some rite or tradition of your culture or your lover.

Catering: one of the most important choices is the food that will be served. You can choose a 100% traditional menu of the country or city where the wedding is taking place. Thanks to this, your guests will enjoy the typical food of the region and some of them will surely learn more about that culture.
On the other hand, you can opt for a catering that specializes in your culture or that of your lover, and thus include your cultures. If you wish to mix the cultures in the food, we recommend the buffet style. Make sure the food is well-labeled so that the guests know what they eat and where that style of food comes from.
TIP. Careful when including very spicy food or strong flavors, since probably not all of your guests are used to eating that way.
Drinks. You can include special cocktails. FOr instance, your favorite, some that come from your countries or that are typical of the wedding site where you are getting married. Another option would be to offer wines from a certain special region for you or an alcoholic beverage that represents you both.

Music. The key is to include special moments of both cultures: traditional dances for the couple or to perform in groups. You can include a live music band that plays special songs for you. If you wish to perform a dance with your lover, we recommend you do some practice beforehand. FOr instance, you can take classes a few months before and thus surprise all your guests.
TIP. Try to include international music, for instance, American pop music. In fact, since it is music that surely all your guests will know, they will feel comfortable when it comes to dancing and participating.

Clothing: be encouraged to include something from your culture or religion in your dress or that of your lover. It can be the color of the dress or suit, an ornament in the hair or some shoes that represent you. You could also choose to design your dress with a designer from your country.
TIP: clothing is super important on your wedding day, you want to be beautiful but also comfortable. If your dress is wonderful but not so comfortable, you may choose to change your outfit during the party, or after the ceremony. This way, you can enjoy every moment to the fullest.
Decoration. It is time to let your imagination fly. Think about what represents you as a couple, and what things from your culture or that of your lover you would like to include. It could be a flower, a color, special ornaments… the important thing is that everything has coherence and that it is beautiful to look at.
Moments in which you can use the decoration to merge cultures: ceremony, cocktail, decorative posters / signage, seating plan, tables and / or buffets, bars, photocall, dance floor, dessert table, dinner, gifts to guests, and any other corner that your wedding has.
